Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is part of the Terms of Service for the service operated by
Choke Spots at chokespots.com (the "Service").
How the fee works
- The Service costs $29 per successful booking.
- You are charged only when we successfully book an appointment that matches your
criteria. If we never book a matching appointment, you are charged nothing.
- We save your payment method up front but do not hold any funds; the $29 is
charged only at the moment of a successful booking.
What "matches your criteria" means
You give us a service type, one or more preferred locations, and a
date/time window (a range you're willing to accept). A booking
matches when the appointment we secure is:
- the service type you requested, and
- at one of the locations you selected, and
- within the date/time window you specified.
We book the first qualifying slot inside those preferences. Because you give us a
window and location options - not one exact date, time, or single office -
any slot that falls inside your stated window and selected locations is a match,
even if you would have preferred a different day, time, or office within that same range.
When we WILL issue a refund
We refund the full $29 when the booking did not match what you asked for or the
charge was our error, including:
- Wrong service, location, or time window. We booked a service type you didn't
request, a location you didn't select, or a date/time outside the window you
specified.
- Duplicate or erroneous charge. You were charged more than once for the same
booking, or charged when no booking was actually completed.
- Technical failure on our end that caused an incorrect or invalid booking.

within 30 days of the charge with your account email and the booking details. We aim
to review requests within 5 business days; approved refunds are returned to your
original payment method.
When we will NOT issue a refund
Because the fee is charged only after the service has already been delivered (a matching appointment
was booked), the following are not refundable:
- You changed your mind or no longer need the appointment.
- You canceled, rescheduled, missed, or didn't attend the appointment after we
booked it.
- You set a window or location list that was broader than you intended, and we
booked a valid slot inside it. (We book the first qualifying slot in your stated preferences.)
- The DMV canceled, changed, or refused the appointment for reasons outside our
control (including because the legal name or details did not match the DMV's identity record for
that person, or because that person already held a conflicting appointment you chose not to
cancel).
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is an error, please contact us first at
david.cito.rodrigues@gmail.com - we can usually
resolve it faster than a card dispute. Filing a chargeback for a service that was delivered as
described may result in suspension of your account.
